Papa Don't Preach

"The act of suicide is condemned by the Church but for Capiz Archbishop Onesimo Gordoncillo, victims should still be given Mass especially if certified by the doctor to be not in their right mind."
-GMANews.TV

Funny, but nobody in his/ her right mind will knowingly take his/ her own life, if you ask me. :)

gibbs,

kumusta padi?

AliNe,

it's different in japan. hara- kiri is ritual suicide and part of the samurai code of bushido. people who performed seppuku were in command of their mental faculties (e.g. author yukio mishima). it's part of their culture to regain honor. :)

Sure it's not in our power to end one's life....this is a delicate subject! Well, personally giving mass to suicide person (who's apparently psychologically bothered) has the right to receive a decent mass. Case to case basis nga dapat talaga!
